Hazmat and movers require certain cargo filings. Most other motor carriers don’t have required cargo filings. However, most brokers and shippers you will work with require $100,000 in cargo coverage. Coverage provided when not under dispatch. Coverage is mainly for owner operators leased onto motor carriers. The motor carrier or finance company will require you to carry Non–Trucking liability.
