Questions carriers ask
Is fleet insurance cheaper per truck than insuring each one separately?
Often, because carriers apply a fleet credit and rate the operation instead of each truck as its own risk. It is not automatic.
When is the right time to move to a fleet policy?
Before your next renewal, not after. If your trucks renew on different dates, the move happens at the earliest one and the rest are added by endorsement as they come due, so you are never paying two policies for one truck.
