This policy explains what information truckersauthorityinsurance.com collects, why, who sees it, and what choices you have. It is written to describe what this website actually does. If we change how the site works, we update this page and the effective date.

1. Who we are

Truckers Authority Insurance is the insurance agency of Truckers Authority LLC, a licensed insurance producer in Nevada (agency NPN 22228605). We place commercial trucking insurance for for-hire carriers. This policy covers this website only. Information you give us when you apply for or buy a policy is also covered by the insurance privacy notice we provide at that time, as required by state and federal insurance law.

2. Information you give us

When you request a quote or contact us, you choose what to send. The quote form asks for: vehicle type, number of trucks, how you operate (own authority, leased on, or not sure), years in operation, USDOT number (optional), company name, garaging ZIP code, your name, phone number, email address, and preferred language. The contact form asks for your name, phone, email, USDOT number (optional), vehicle type, and a message. Phone number is the only required field on the quote form; we need it to call you back.

If you call us, we may keep the number you called from and a record of the call.

3. Information collected automatically

Attribution. When you submit a form, the site records the page you were on, the page that referred you, and any campaign identifiers in the address bar (for example utm parameters and click IDs from Google, Meta, or Microsoft ads). We use this to know which advertising brought you here.

Call and form tracking. We use WhatConverts to track calls and form submissions. It may show a different phone number to different visitors so a call can be matched to the advertising source, and it records the source of each call and form. WhatConverts may record calls; if a call is recorded, you will hear a notice at the start.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site: pages viewed, device type, approximate location from IP address, and how far visitors get in the quote form. Google Analytics sets cookies. It does not receive your name, phone number, or email from our forms.

Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and the time of each request, used for security and to keep the site running.

Third-party embeds. The contact page embeds a Google Map, which loads from Google and is subject to Google's privacy policy. Fonts load from Google Fonts.

We do not use advertising cookies, remarketing pixels, or session-recording tools on this site. If we add any, we will say so here first.

4. USDOT lookup

If you enter a USDOT number on the quote form, our server may send that number to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's public QCMobile service and retrieve the public registration record (legal name, city, state, and number of power units) to fill the form for you. Only the USDOT number is sent. FMCSA does not receive your name, phone, or email.

5. How we use your information

We use what you give us to quote and place insurance, call or message you about your request, send certificates and documents you ask for, service and renew policies you buy, and answer your questions. We use attribution and analytics data to measure and improve our advertising and this site. We do not sell your information and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

6. Who receives your information

Our team. Licensed agents and staff of Truckers Authority LLC who handle your request.

Insurance carriers and intermediaries. To quote and place coverage, we share the information needed for underwriting with the insurance carriers, managing general agents, and wholesalers we work with. They use it under their own privacy notices and insurance law.

Service providers that run this site. Form submissions are stored in a database operated by our website hosting provider and emailed to our agency inbox. Submissions may also be sent to our customer relationship management system (Zoho) through an automation service (Zapier) so an agent can follow up. Call and form tracking is provided by WhatConverts. Analytics is provided by Google. Each of these providers processes data on our behalf and is not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Legal. We disclose information when the law requires it, to respond to lawful requests, or to protect our rights, our customers, or the public.

7. Consent to be contacted

By submitting the quote or contact form you agree that we may contact you by phone, text message, or email about your request, including using automated dialing or texting systems. Consent is not a condition of buying insurance. Reply STOP to any text to opt out of texts, or tell us by phone or email that you no longer want to be contacted. Message and data rates may apply.

8. How long we keep information

We keep quote requests and related records for as long as needed to serve your request and for the period insurance regulations require us to retain agency records. Analytics data is kept under Google Analytics' retention settings. You may ask us to delete information we hold about you; we will do so unless insurance or other law requires us to keep it.

9. Your choices and rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@truckersauthorityinsurance.com or calling (775) 382-6779. We will verify your identity before acting on a request.

Nevada residents: we do not sell personal information as defined under Nevada law. If that ever changes, this page will say so and provide an opt-out.

California residents: if you are a California resident and California privacy law applies to your information, you have the right to know what we collect and how we use it, to request deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. Use the contact details above.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect analytics but does not affect the quote form.

10. Children

This site is for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

11. Security

Form submissions travel over an encrypted connection. Stored submissions are held in access-controlled systems available only to staff who need them. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

12. Changes to this policy

When we change this policy we post the new version here with a new effective date. Material changes to how we collect or share information will be noted at the top of the page.
