Nevada Trucking Insurance

Nevada trucking insurance splits into two tracks: interstate carriers file with FMCSA under federal minimums, and intrastate-only carriers answer to the Nevada Transportation Authority with a state filing. Our agency is licensed in Nevada, based in Las Vegas, and handles both tracks for truck tractors, dump trucks and box trucks working the I-15 corridor, Clark County construction, and the rest of the state.

How it works

  1. Step 1: Tell us where you run

Nevada only, or across state lines. That decides the filing.

  2. Step 2: We quote carriers licensed to write trucking in Nevada

A Nevada-licensed agent, not an out-of-state call center.

  3. Step 3: Bind and file with FMCSA or the NTA

    We confirm the filing posts.

Questions carriers ask

Does a Nevada intrastate carrier need an MC number?

No. MC operating authority is a federal interstate requirement. Intrastate-only for-hire carriers in Nevada are regulated by the Nevada Transportation Authority instead and need a USDOT number plus NTA authority.

Can I meet with an agent in person in Las Vegas?

Yes. Our office is at 2620 Regatta Dr Suite 102, Las Vegas, NV 89128, open Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Spanish-speaking agents are available.

Do you write trucking insurance outside Nevada?

In the states where we hold a license, listed on our licensing page. If your state is not listed, call and we will tell you straight.
