Primary liability
One filed policy covering every power unit. We place it and file the BMC-91 once.
Primary liabilityTrucking fleet insurance puts every truck you run on one policy, so you stop managing four renewal dates, four certificates and four chances for a lapse to pull your filing. Most carriers with a handful of trucks got there one policy at a time, and the paperwork grew with the fleet. Our agency writes commercial truck fleet insurance for for-hire carriers running two to nine tractors, dump trucks or box trucks, from a licensed office in Las Vegas, with the filings done as part of binding.
Step 1 of 5
One policy for the whole fleet, one BMC-91 filing, one renewal date, one licensed agent who knows every truck on the schedule.

One BMC-91 to FMCSA, one certificate per broker, one renewal date to remember.
This page is for for-hire trucking fleets of two to nine trucks. Fleets of ten or more, and fleets of cars or vans outside trucking, are written through different markets; call and we will tell you which.
Most trucking carriers treat two to nine power units as a small fleet and ten or more as a fleet account with different underwriting. The line moves by carrier. What matters more than the count is whether the operation has an inspection history and a driver list that does not turn over every quarter.
Often, because carriers apply a fleet credit and rate the operation instead of each truck as its own risk. It is not automatic. A fleet with one bad driver on the schedule can rate worse than the same trucks split up. Ask for both structures on the quote and compare them; a licensed agent will show you both.
Before your next renewal, not after. If your trucks renew on different dates, the move happens at the earliest one and the rest are added by endorsement as they come due, so you are never paying two policies for one truck. Waiting until every policy lines up means another year of separate renewals and separate certificates.
